About This Tool

Why We Built This

The only free military fitness calculator covering all five U.S. branches in one place — updated for 2025/2026 standards.

The Problem We Solved

Every military branch has its own fitness test, its own scoring tables, and its own pass/fail standards — and they all change. When the Army replaced the ACFT with the new AFT in June 2025, soldiers needed a fast, accurate way to check their scores against the new 5-event standard. But no single free tool covered all five branches in one place.

Soldiers were manually cross-referencing PDFs. Recruits were using outdated calculators. Service members switching branches had no easy way to compare standards. MilitaryFitnessCalc.com was built to fix all of that.

What This Calculator Covers

🪖 Army AFT (2025) — The Army Fitness Test replaced the ACFT on June 1, 2025. Five events: 3-Rep Max Deadlift (MDL), Hand-Release Push-Up (HRP), Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC), Plank (PLK), and 2-Mile Run (2MR). General Standard: 300 minimum, 60 per event. Combat MOS Standard: 350 minimum, sex-neutral scoring.

⚓ Navy PRT (2026) — Physical Readiness Test: push-ups, forearm plank, 1.5-mile run. Scored Outstanding through Probationary. Age and gender adjusted in 5-year bands. Based on OPNAVINST 6110.1J.

⚔️ Marine PFT — Pull-ups/push-ups, plank, 3-mile run. Max 300 points. 1st Class (270+), 2nd Class (225+), 3rd Class (135+). Based on MCO 6100.13A.

✈️ Air Force PT (2026) — Weighted composite: 1.5-mile run (60%), push-ups (10%), sit-ups (10%), waist (20%). Score 0-100. Satisfactory = 75+. Excellent = 90+. Based on DAFI 36-2905.

🛟 Coast Guard PT — Push-ups, sit-ups, 1.5-mile run. Max 300 points. Satisfactory = 150+. Annual Physical Fitness Evaluation requirement.

How the Scoring Works

Each branch uses official published scoring tables. Raw scores (reps, weights, times) are converted to points using interpolated scoring tables from the official branch standards documents. For the Army AFT, this means the tables from the official AFT Scoring Scales PDF effective June 1, 2025. All calculations run locally in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

Accuracy and Updates

Standards are based on official documents as of June 2026. Military fitness standards change periodically — we update scoring tables when official changes are published. If you notice a discrepancy between this calculator and your official branch standards, please contact us immediately. We take accuracy seriously.

Who This Is For
