Army Fitness Test (AFT)
The Army Fitness Test replaced the ACFT on 1 June 2025. Five events, 500 points, a 60-point floor on every event, and two pass lines — 300 on the General standard and 350 for a Combat MOS. These four pages cover the tables, the rules, the training and the scoring.

A calculator for every branch
Each of these links now goes to the page it names. Every one is scored from the table the service publishes for it, alternate events included.
Navy PRT calculator 2026
Score push-ups, forearm plank, and 1.5-mile run — or the 2000m row, 500-yard swim or 450m swim. Get your category: Outstanding, Excellent, Good, Satisfactory, or Probationary.
Marine Corps PFT calculator
Pull-ups or push-ups, plank, and 3-mile run. Score your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Class rating up to 300 points. Push-ups are a different scale from pull-ups and cap at 70 of the 100 points.

Coast Guard PT test calculator
Push-ups, the forearm plank and one cardio event, scored by age and gender. The plank replaced sit-ups. Annual requirement for all active duty members.
Army ACFT calculator (retired test)
The ACFT became the AFT on 1 June 2025. This page explains exactly what changed and scores your test on the current tables.
Height, weight and body fat
Body composition is assessed separately from the fitness test in every service. The tape test, the height/weight screen and the 2026 waist-to-height standards.
This hub previously published the pre-2026 Air Force weighting — run 60 per cent, push-ups 10, sit-ups 10, waist 20. The current weighting is cardio 50, waist-to-height 20, strength 15, core 15, and it is what the cards above and the Air Force PT calculator use.
It also listed Coast Guard sit-ups. The forearm plank replaced sit-ups; the Coast Guard PT test page has the current three events.
What passes, by branch
Five services, five different rules. This is the whole of it in one table — the same five figures the rail beside this page carries.
| Service & test | Pass mark | Per-event floor | How it is scored |
|---|---|---|---|
| Army AFT | 300 / 500 | 60 pts | Five events at 100 points each. Combat MOS needs 350 and is scored on the sex-neutral column. |
| Navy PRT | 45 avg | 45 pts | Push-ups, forearm plank and one cardio event, each 0–100, averaged into a composite category. |
| Marine PFT | 150 / 300 | Event floor | Pull-ups or push-ups, plank and the 3-mile run. Any event under its rep or time floor fails the test. |
| Air Force PT | 75.0 / 100 | Component | Cardio 50, waist-to-height 20, strength 15, core 15. No failed component permitted. |
| Coast Guard PT | Go / no-go | All three | Push-ups, forearm plank and one cardio event against your own minimum. No total to make a shortfall up with. |
